Designed as a multi-service fintech platform operating within a highly regulated environment, where trust, compliance, and usability needed to scale across multiple financial products.®
Our Role
We were responsible for the end-to-end design process. This included user research, wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity UI designs. We collaborated closely with their product managers and developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
Challenge and Goals
The core challenge was creating a single experience that could support gold-backed investments, asset-backed loans, crypto exposure, and insurance services while remaining intuitive for first-time users.
This included UAE-specific onboarding with UAE Pass, complex KYC and re-verification flows, and clear communication around risk, eligibility, and ownership. Additional complexity came from advanced features such as junior accounts and credit products backed by investments, all of which required transparent permissions, real-time calculations, and robust handling of edge cases. The overarching challenge was to unify diverse financial services into one coherent platform without increasing cognitive load or compromising regulatory integrity.
Solution
A trust-first, modular fintech platform that unifies investing, lending, crypto, and insurance through guided flows, transparent communication, and scalable design systems.
InvestNation was designed as a unified digital wealth ecosystem that balances regulatory rigor with clarity and ease of use. The experience begins with progressive onboarding and UAE Pass integration, allowing users to enter quickly through a trusted national identity system while maintaining compliance. KYC and verification flows were structured into clear, step-by-step journeys with visible progress, supportive feedback, and seamless re-verification handling.
Core investment features were centered around gold-backed investing and systematic investment plans, supported by clearly defined investment zones and educational content. On top of this foundation, asset-backed services such as gold loans and credit cards against investments were introduced with benefit-led explanations, upfront eligibility criteria, and real-time calculations to help users unlock liquidity without liquidating assets. Additional services such as crypto exposure and motor insurance were designed as integrated extensions of the ecosystem, following consistent interaction patterns and transparency standards. A modular design system ensured that new financial products could be introduced without disrupting the overall experience, allowing InvestNation to scale as a comprehensive financial platform.
Impact & Learnings
By simplifying onboarding, clarifying investment choices, and introducing asset-backed liquidity features, the platform increased user confidence and engagement across the investment lifecycle.
The design system and interaction patterns established a scalable foundation, enabling the product to support complex financial features while maintaining a consistent, premium user experience.
Improved onboarding completion through progressive sign-up and UAE Pass integration
